Are you being investigated by H M Revenue and Customs? 

If you are facing a tax investigation there are many questions that you will need answered. HMRC carry out a number of random tax inspections each year although most inspections are started because there are concerns about the accuracy of the most recent tax return or set of accounts submitted.  

Some investigations are carried out by Special Civil Investigations (SCI) Office which is H M Revenue and Customs specialist unit that has the responsibility for conducting criminal prosecutions against those suspected of serious tax fraud. They also negotiate settlements for the most serious cases of tax evasion.
